This shawl style valance comes pre-mounted on a 4-inch deep board with velcro for easy installation and removal. Offering clean lines, shapely hems and a hint of drama, our board mounted valances come fully lined, with all necessary hardware, and can be used standalone or as over treatments to formalize a space. HomeSewn Wisdom: In case of board valances wider than 80 inches, we supply two half-boards, instead of one long board. This is to avoid damage in transit as well as to ensure ease of handling during installation. The valance itself will be one long continuous valance, which will seamlessly wrap around the two boards. Jabot length specified should be the length of longest pleat on jabots. Number of pleats/folds on jabots may vary and are up to tailors' sole discretion. Our stylists and tailors decide these based on a number of factors to get the best possible look for each piece.
