Shedua pillow platter with a soft curved bowl on one side and a curved bottom with ring detail. Finished with gold embellishing paste and topped with wax to bring out the beautiful gold tones in the wood. Shedua, also known as Ovangkol, is a dense, tropical hardwood that comes from West and Central Africa. Shedua has a lively brown heartwood with darker brown, gray, and black lines in the grain pattern. Measures approx. 9" diameter x 1 5/8" tall.
