A hand-drawn batik on cotton, made in collaboration with artisans in Indonesia. The design began as childhood memory; a cabinet full of shells in a Balinese house on a beach in Southern Thailand that Lisa grew up in. The intricate fill details or isen isen in Javanese batik tradition were completed by hand by artisans in Yogyakarta, a collaboration and contrast of old and new traditions.
