Ogemray SW40 25A Smart Switch for Immersion Control is a high‑current smart switch designed to control immersion heaters and other large loads up to 25A / 6000W. It integrates with the Eleven Energy app for intelligent control, including using excess solar generation to heat water once the battery is full. Key Features 25A / 6kW rated output – suitable for controlling immersion heaters and other sizeable resistive loads on single‑phase supplies. Built‑in power metering – measures real‑time power and energy usage so you can see exactly how much electricity the immersion or load is using. Smart integration with Eleven Energy – controlled via the Eleven Energy app, enabling coordinated operation with Volta batteries, inverters and PV. Solar excess divert – can be configured so that surplus solar (once the battery is full) is automatically diverted into the immersion heater. Easy Bluetooth onboarding – Bluetooth connectivity allows fast and simple pairing with the Eleven app before moving to Wi‑Fi control. Control & Connectivity App control: full on/off control, scheduling and automation through the Eleven Energy app. Scheduling: set time‑based programmes (e.g. off‑peak heating, timed boosts). Automation: link operation to solar production, battery state of charge or other system conditions where supported by the Eleven ecosystem. Wiring & Installation Simple wiring: connect the supply live and neutral and the immersion circuit live and neutral to the device; use the switched live terminal to feed the immersion heater. Load type: designed primarily for resistive loads such as immersion heaters; ensure the connected load does not exceed 25A / 6000W. Mounting: suitable for installation near the immersion heater or consumer unit in an appropriate enclosure or pattress box. Installation requirements: all wiring must be carried out by a competent person, with isolation and protective devices sized according to local regulations. Typical Applications Immersion heater control in homes with PV and battery storage, using surplus solar for hot water. Smart control of other high‑power resistive loads (within rating) such as panel heaters or electric towel rails. Systems where integration with Eleven Energy monitoring and automation is required for whole‑home optimisation.
