Shelyak Alpy 200 Switch Module Already own an Alpy 600, and want to switch easily from one instrument to another (Alpy 600 to Alpy 200 and vice versa)? This special version of the Alpy 200 module is for you. Simply remove the Alpy assembly from the guide module (6 knurled screws, no tools required), replace it with the other version, and you can resume your observations in a matter of minutes. Of course, the switch will be even simpler if each module is equipped with its own camera, but this is not a requirement. Warning: remember to redo the reference images (flats and calibration in particular) after the exchange. When ordering, remember to choose the slit that corresponds to your configuration (this module is sold without slit). Note: It was Robin Leadbeater who first suggested – several years ago – that we make a variant of the Alpy 600 for observing weak targets. Thank you Robin !
