The BASE 5.0-EB Portable Extra Battery incorporates an automotive grade, high-quality lithium iron phosphate battery (LiFePO4), which can be cycled 3500 times before its original capacity is reduced to 80%. Having a capacity of 5048Wh, expandable up to a massive 80,640Wh by linking fifteen to the BASE 5.0, the system offers a significant energy reserve for extended periods of uninterrupted power. The BASE 5.0-EB safeguards overheating and low charge. These limit deep discharge to preserve the longevity of the battery. The BASE 5.0-EB has two link ports to add an Extra Battery and a BASE 5.0 host unit. Thisallows charge and discharge power sharing once the linked units have balanced. The BASE 5.0-EB will only charge when linked to the BASE 5.0 host.AC Charging: approximately 3.5 hours from 0% to 100% when connected to a BASE 5.0 host unit, plugged into mains or maximum solar input.
