This years hat has been named ‘Aal Ower Toorie’, not just to denote that it is based on an allover design, but also as a tribute to Guild members, who reside “aal ower” Shetland! The hat has been designed by Rachel Hunter on behalf of the Guild using either eight or five colours. We hope this year’s hat will bring knitters together from far and wide, celebrating the enduring beauty of Fair Isle knitting. This is just a kit of the wool for the Aal Ower Toorie.
