Shichimi Togarashi, also known as Japanese Seven-Spice Powder, is a common Japanese condiment. It’s often found on the table in sushi restaurants and is popular sprinkled in udon a nd ramen soups, on other noodle dishes, and in things like yakitori and rice bowls. Ingredients vary slightly from version to version, but the flavour is always a little citrusy, a little toasty, and very hot. Ours goes a little easier on the chiles than the common commercial brands and has more of the interesting flavours like Szechuan peppercorns and nori (roasted seaweed). Show more
