Applications: This conductor is commonly used for overhead shielding of transmission lines in areas where high corrosion is likely, such as coastal regions or at sea. This cable is commonly employed to shield communication lines as well. The metal layer wraps around the primary conductors to protect against outside electromagnetic interference.
