Shieldex® Bremen RS: Electrically and Thermally Conductive Fabric for Diverse Applications Shieldex® Bremen RS is a versatile ripstop fabric metalized with pure silver, offering excellent shielding against electromagnetic radiation in the 0.2 to 14 GHz frequency range. The silver content and OEKO-Tex® conformity make this fabric antimicrobial, suitable for hygiene applications. Silver is a biocidal active ingredient according to §67 of the EU Biocide Regulation. Key Features & Applications Shieldex® Bremen RS is a silver-coated polyamide fabric with approximately 20% silver content. Its robust ripstop structure, with about 2,500 threads per cm² (warp and weft direction), makes it ideal for technical applications requiring mechanical durability. The fabric's electrical conductivity reaches up to < 0.3 Ω, making it perfect for sensor applications and as a base material for partial metallization.
