A new Bambon project! We all love this yarn, don't we? If you haven't tried it yet, this is a good project to cast on. The "Shifting lines" cowl is a quick knit. For a regular cowl, this one gives you different styling options. It's knitted in the round from the top down first with a seed stitch border followed by diagonally shifting lines, then it splits and gets knitted flat in garter stitch followed by a stretchy bind off. The pattern is written and offers a chart. The unblocked size measures 9” in height and 19” around the neckline. The knit kits include A Bambon skein, 154 yards/100 grams in a DK weight. 60% cotton/40% Bamboo. The printed pattern and emailed PDF file. All packaged in a convenient project bag. Notions needed US size 7 (4.5 mm) circular needle 16" (42 cm) in length. One stitch marker to mark beginning of rounds. Tapestry needle or crochet hook for finishing. Gauge: 14 sts and 18 rows in stockinette stitch. Techniques applied: Knitting and purling in the round and flat, stretchy bind off, weaving in ends.
