This was the Raj Tent Club’s very first tent. Based on a traditional Rajasthani hunting tent, we restyled and updated the Shikar in the 1990’s and eighty were initially made as a tented encampment for the Maharajah of Jodhpur in Pushkar. Lined in sumptuous hand block printed cotton and with mesh windows, the tent provides a truly luxurious camping experience with ample space to sleep two in comfort. It has a rear bathroom and front verandah. The double fly Shikar is ideal for festivals, tented encampments and hotels under canvas, or it makes a wonderfully romantic honeymoon tent.
