About this product:Himalayan Power Natural Shilajit Resin is a purified shilajit resin collected from rock crevices in the high Himalaya of Gilgit-Baltistan, at altitudes above 16, 000ft. It contains fulvic acid, humic acid and naturally occurring trace minerals.How it is made:Raw shilajit is filtered and purified in small batches, then sun-dried below 40°C. It is never cooked over fire or dried with synthetic heat. From 20kg of raw shilajit we obtain roughly 1kg of purified resin. Nothing is added: no fillers, additives, preservatives or flavouring.Testing:Independently tested by laboratories in Australia and Pakistan for heavy metals and microbiological contamination. Free from GMO, gluten, soy, gelatine, egg, dairy and caffeine, and suitable for vegans.How to use:Take a pea-sized amount (300-500mg) on the spoon provided and dissolve it in warm water, warm milk, tea or coffee.Opening the jar:Pure resin is very sticky. Stand the jar upright in warm water for a few minutes before opening to let the resin settle. We add 2 grams extra to each jar to cover wastage.Taste and texture:Shilajit has a strong earthy smell and a bitter taste.
