Design and Appearance The first thing you will notice about Alivio is the combination of its larger size and elegant black matt body with burnished metal inserts. The large 6000 and 10000 sizes are the perfect choice if you are looking for a versatile, larger-sized reel to use for carp, large predators, or even light surf casting. Smoothness and Power In use, the rotor turns with superb smoothness and power, as the bearings work together in perfect harmony with the gears. When playing larger fish, you can rely on the excellent multi-disc front drag for confident fish-playing. This can apply up to 8kg of drag, giving you all the stopping power you need to maintain complete control of fast-running fish. Internal Features Internally, the Alivio has a 1+1 bearing arrangement that maintains smooth performance, even when put under excessive pressure, which enables it to be used for a wide range of medium and heavier fishing styles.
