Clever and unique clamping design from Shimano's PRO engineers offers up a lightweight and sturdy design that reduces stress on both the handlebars and the clamp. The Puzzle Clamp design hooks over the small reveal on the stem body and then fastens close with the two bolts located on the bottom of the clamp. Every possible area of the face plate has been relieved for added weight reduction. The outside of the plate has the familiar V shape which is brushed for good looks and adds contrast to the rest of the stem body. The stem body itself is constructed of 7075 heat treated alloy then anodized for added durability. The body is triangular in shape to add longitudinal and torsional rigidity. Simple, light and thoughtful design elements of the Pro Vibe 7S make it an ideal complement for just about any performance orientated rider. As seen on many a Pro bike in the peloton, this stem is a winner. The clamp is a standard 31.8mm diameter and is available in the industry standard -10/80° rise option only.
