Natural tan genuine leather hand-tooled with breathtaking full-coverage floral and feather scroll patterns, accented with hand-painted blue and copper detail work on selected raise d elements — finished with a hand-tooled top handle and antique brass turn-lock closure. Western artisan leatherwork at its most painterly. This extraordinary flap handbag is a genuine artisan masterpiece — the entire front flap is covered in full-coverage hand-tooled genuine leather featuring sweeping floral and feather scroll patterns of exceptional intricacy, all pressed entirely by hand into warm natural tan genuine leather. Selected raised elements throughout the tooling are then hand-painted with blue and copper accent colors — leaves and scroll tips painted in soft blue, small floral accents touched with warm copper — creating a subtle, sophisticated multi-tone color story layered directly onto the hand-tooled surface. A precise rope-pattern border frames the flap edge in a contrasting band, and the top handle is itself covered in hand-tooled leather, ensuring the artisan craft of this bag continues from body to handle without interruption. ✦ STANDOUT FEATURES: Hand-Painted Blue & Copper Accents on Hand-Tooled Raised Elements — Painterly Western Artistry What elevates this bag beyond extraordinary hand tooling into genuine wearable art is the hand-applied blue and copper accent painting on selected raised elements of the floral and feather scroll tooling. Soft blue is painted by hand onto individual leaf tips and scroll elements, while warm copper touches accent small floral details — the color applied with restraint and precision, enhancing the dimensionality of the hand tooling without overwhelming the natural warmth of the tan leather. This technique — painting selectively onto hand-tooled raised elements — requires both leatherworking and painting skill at a master level, and the result is a surface of extraordinary painterly depth. Full-Coverage Floral & Feather Scroll Tooling with Rope Border Frame Every inch of the front flap of this handbag is covered in hand-tooled floral and feather scroll patterns of exceptional intricacy — large feathered acanthus leaves, flowing scroll work, and floral clusters all carved and stamped entirely by hand into the natural tan leather. A hand-tooled rope-pattern border frames the full perimeter of the flap in a contrasting band that creates a clean, defined edge to the composition — a classic Western leatherwork finishing detail that frames the interior tooling like a mat around a painting. The combination of the dense interior scroll work and the clean rope border creates a composition of genuine artisan sophistication. Hand-Tooled Top Handle — Artisan Craft on Every Element The top handle of this bag is wrapped and covered in hand-tooled genuine leather — the same floral and scroll tooling that covers the flap body continues onto the handle, ensuring the artisan craft of the piece is consistent from every carry angle. This is an exceptional detail — most bags treat handles as purely functional elements; this one treats them as a continuation of the artisan composition. Measures : 11.5” long by 7.5” deep Show more
