Notes: hay, oatmeal, hazelnut, bergamot, lavender, herbal tea, westfarthing leaf (tobacco), seed cake, jasmine, orris, and honey*. The scent of field and glen covered in the golden grasses of harvest season. Shire started as a lighter re-imagining of Hayloft that ended up being fairly different and focuses more on the sweeter/coumaric facets of hay. The formula uses many of the same materials but in drastically different ratios and at a lighter concentration. I decided to give it a different name than Hayloft EDT as it felt like the final version was too different to be considered a flanker and there was some confusion about the name.
