In our case the heavier FullWeight Fabric makes it more of a jacket than a shirt. FIT GUIDE: Fits a bit big. Model in photos is 5'11" (178 cm) and 186 pounds (84 kg) wearing a size medium. FABRIC: 100% WeatherWool Certified Fine Wool in a Jacquard Weave FEATURES: Front and back panels of the garment are joined by a doubled panel over the top of the shoulders for additional protection against rain and weather. Handwarmer pockets on each side Large, inside drop pockets on each side. The size of these pockets will vary depending on the size of the ShirtJac, but in size Medium, the drop pockets are large enough to hold an 8.5 by 11 inch (22 x 28 cm) folder or even a notebook PC and iPads. Chest pockets are 5"x 5.5" (12.7cm x 14cm) (size medium) Stitched onto each drop pocket is a zippered pocket measuring 5 by 8 inches (13 by 20 cm), large enough to hold a field notebook. Signature slot button closures secured with nylon ribbon on cuffs, at the pockets, and front center The collar is substantial and will hold up when raised Milspec water-resistant thread throughout WeatherWool is always MADE IN USA 100% VERSATILITY: Easy to toss on and walk out the door as an everyday jacket, work coat, or even dressed up over a shirt and tie. ANECDOTES: One other thing has surprised some. The inner "drop pockets" open into the handwarmer pockets. That is, you can put something into the drop pocket and take it out the handwarmer pocket ... or vice versa, of course. If we had separated the handwarmer pockets from the drop pockets, we would have had to add bulk to the garment, and the drop pockets would have been much narrower. Even on the XXSmall ShirtJac, the inner drop pockets are 9.5 inches (24 cm) wide, and increase with ShirtJac size. The zippered pockets sewn to the front of each drop pocket are wide and made of our own 100% Wool Heritage (also referred to as LightWeight) Fabric. EST. SHIP: Currently not in production. If your wool does not seem dirty, don't feel obligated to clean it ... even if you have not cleaned it for years.
