ShoreTel 230 IP Phone Description: The ShoreTel 230 business phone was designed to be the ideal deskphone for ShoreTel phone systems. The ShoreTel IP230 phone boasts support for 3 lines, allowing you to configure the phone to transfer or accept multiple lines with ease. The IP230 has a small footprint taking up minimal space, yet it packs powerful features such as a full duplex speakerphone and integrated Ethernet switch. The ShoreTel 230 runs using the MGCP protocol, and connects to ShoreTel voice switches and phone systems. The ShoreTel 230 phone can be powered by either an 802.3af compliant switch, or through the use of a power injector. The 230 has a five line display, measuring 120 by 35 pixels. The ShoreTel IP230 requires little power as a Class 2 PoE device, drawing only 4.4 watts at max power. The Gigabit / VPN version of the phone is the ShoreTel 230G.
