These short thread grease nipples are used on the rear propshaft of Land Rover vehicles fitted with ANF thread fittings, allowing grease to be injected into the universal joints and sliding yoke to maintain lubrication under load. Worn or damaged grease nipples prevent adequate greasing, accelerating wear in the propshaft UJs and leading to vibration, clunking on drive engagement, or premature joint failure. Correct thread type is critical - fitting a metric nipple into an ANF-threaded housing will strip the thread. Key Features Short thread pattern, ANF (American National Fine) thread type - not suitable for metric-threaded propshafts Compatible with standard grease guns fitted with a push-on or screw-on coupler Supplied as Britpart components manufactured to OEM specifications for direct replacement Check all propshaft nipple points during replacement - front propshaft nipples should be inspected at the same time Vehicle Fitment Fits Land Rover Defender (1986–2006 and 2007 onwards), Discovery 1 (1989–1998), Range Rover Classic, and Range Rover P38 (1995–2002) - ANF thread type rear propshafts only.
