Short Wool Walking Socks are ideal for hikers who want superior foot protection without extra material around the calfs. Manufactured from a blended yarn of premium British wool an d virgin polyamide, these soft walking socks are naturally anti-bacterial, with excellent blister prevention properties. The full Terry deep loop pile construction provides underfoot impact protection and high insulation throughout, whilst the technical toe construction provides a non-irritating smooth seam for added comfort. Unlike most other sock brands, the Sub Zero range has a non-elasticated comfort cuff finish achieved by the in-built stretch of the polyamide yarn. This will keep your socks pulled up without them cutting in to your calfs. A water repellent treatment is applied to the socks during the final stages of manufacturing, providing outstanding moisture management and stain resistance.
