Rayas Collective colorful basket bags are handmade in El Salvador by a small team of experienced craftswomen led by women. It takes 3-4 hours to make one basket. The baskets are wo ven from 100% HDPE, using a mixture of new and recycled material. HDPE stands for high-density polyethylene and is one of the most commonly recycled plastic polymers worldwide.
