The completely redesigned construction of Schwalbe Pro Radial tyres is based on a new carcass design. Unlike conventional bicycle tyres, the threads of the carcass are arranged at a more obtuse angle in radial tyres, changing the way the tyre deforms when it comes into contact with the trail. As a result, these tyres have a larger contact area than conventional mountain bike tyres and filter more small trail irregularities. Shredda Gravity Pro tyres are the tyre of choice for gravity focussed riding in loose conditions. The open tread patter helps the tyre clear mud, and the large tyre lugs dig in for more grip.
