This is Jovellana punctata. This is one of my favorite shrubs to see in blossom. In our park it likes to live in a shady area which only gets an hour or two of direct sunlight ever y day. The delicate little flowers look like they each have their own individual faces, like fingerprints. Splashes and specks of purple, yellow, violet and maroon dance on the china white background.
