These seeds are from Limonia acidissima, also known as elephant apple, and monkey fruit. A very popular drink called wood apple juice is made from this fruit. The fruit is sour and needs some sugar, but it tastes like mango, honey, and banana. It makes a delicious lemonade type of drink. This is the only species in the Genus Limonia.
