Why ripe pu-erh Fully fermented and aged, ripe (shou) pu-erh is warming, smooth and gentle on the stomach. Pressed into a cake, it ages gracefully and only improves with time. How to brew (gongfu style) Break off approx. 5g per 100ml, brew at 100°C (212°F). Rinse twice to open the leaf, then steep 10–20 seconds for the first infusion, adding a few seconds each round. Rewards 8+ steeps. Western brewing: 5g per 300ml, 100°C, 3–4 minutes. Re-steep several times. Limited edition — 100g cake. Sealed fresh in collectible packaging.
