Ingredients Yunnan Pu'erh Tea: Premium aged Shu Pu'erh (ripe pu'erh) from Yunnan Province, China Brewing Guide Water Temperature: 200–212°F (93–100°C) - Boiling water is ideal Tea Amount: 1–1.5 teaspoons per 8 oz cup (or 5–7g for gongfu brewing) Steeping Time: 3–5 minutes for first infusion (or 10–20 seconds for gongfu style) Infusions: Can be steeped 6–10+ times, increasing steeping time with each infusion Best Practices: Rinse the leaves with hot water for 5–10 seconds before the first steep to "awaken" the tea and remove any dust.
