The rules generally require you to alternately slide the four pucks by hand against your opponent's pucks. Try to reach the highest scoring zone on the shuffleboard without falling off the sides. To score points, the pucks must be as far away from the board as possible. Part of the strategy and the fun really comes into play when you knock down your opponents' pucks, distance yourself from them, or use your weighted pucks to protect other pucks that have scored the most points.
