How to Determine Wrist Size You will need to specify your wrist size to the closest quarter inch. Here is how to measure. Just above your wrist bone where you would normally wear a bracelet, measure your wrist circumference with a flexible tape measure, piece of string, or strip of paper. If you are using a strip of paper, mark your size with a pen or pencil. Then, use a ruler to measure the length of the string or paper. This is your wrist size. I will make your bracelet about 1/2” larger than your wrist size, which accommodates the beads for a comfortable fit. Which Clasp Do I Choose? You get a choice between two high quality clasp styles. Each has its advantages, so it's really a matter of personal preference. Mag-Lok Clasp The Mag-Lok is a very strong, self-aligning rare earth magnet encased in brass. The advantage of a Mag-Lok is that it's easy to open and close with one hand. The disadvantage is that, being a magnet, it will grab onto metallic objects when it gets close to them, which can be annoying to some people (but entertaining for others).
