Just above your wrist bone where you would normally wear a bracelet, measure your wrist circumference with a flexible tape measure, piece of string, or strip of paper. If you are using a strip of paper, mark your size with a pen or pencil. Then, use a ruler to measure the length of the string or paper. This is your wrist size. I will make your bracelet about 1/2” larger than your wrist size, which accommodates the beads for a comfortable fit. Which Clasp Do I Choose? You get a choice between two high quality clasp styles. Each has its advantages, so it's really a matter of personal preference. Mag-Lok Clasp The Mag-Lok is a very strong, self-aligning rare earth magnet encased in sterling silver. The advantage of a Mag-Lok is that it's easy to open and close with one hand. The disadvantage is that, being a magnet, it will grab onto metallic objects when it gets close to them, which can be annoying to some people (but entertaining for others). To open the Mag-Lok, it is best to SLIDE the two halves apart rather than pulling. A thumbnail can be handy to get it started.
