Product OverviewThe Shure BLX4 is a single-channel analog wireless receiver designed for use with the BLX Wireless System, delivering reliable wireless audio reception for speech reinforcement, live sound, and commercial AV installations. AV integrators and system designers rely on the BLX4 for straightforward deployment in meeting rooms, training rooms, and multipurpose venues. The receiver features microprocessor-controlled internal antenna diversity and one-touch QuickScan frequency selection to minimize setup time and interference risk in shared RF environments.Product DescriptionThe Shure BLX4 single-channel wireless receiver pairs with BLX series transmitters—handheld, bodypack, or instrument—to complete an analog wireless system. Its internal antenna diversity eliminates the need for external antenna distribution hardware, keeping rack footprint minimal in installed AV environments. Dual output connectivity via XLR and ¼" connectors allows direct connection to mixing consoles, DSP processors, or conferencing equipment without additional adapters. The two-color audio status LED provides at-a-glance signal monitoring during live operation. QuickScan automatically identifies clean frequencies within the selected group, accelerating system deployment in complex RF environments common to commercial spaces and multi-room AV installations.Key Features Microprocessor-Controlled Internal Antenna Diversity — Automatically selects the stronger of two internal antennas to maintain stable RF reception without requiring external antenna hardware or distribution amplifiers. One-Touch QuickScan Frequency Selection — Instantly scans and locks onto the best available open frequency within the selected group, reducing setup time in congested RF environments. Dual XLR and ¼" Output Connectors — Provides flexible integration with professional mixing consoles, DSP units, and conferencing systems without requiring additional adapters. Two-Color Audio Status LED — Green indicates normal signal levels; red alerts to excessive audio or clipping, enabling fast visual monitoring during live events and presentations. Up to 12 Compatible Channels per Group — Supports simultaneous deployment of multiple BLX wireless systems in the same venue without inter-system interference. Compact Tabletop Form Factor — Low-profile design suits podium-top, AV rack-adjacent, or tabletop placement in lecture halls, huddle rooms, and multipurpose spaces. Multiple Frequency Band Options — Available in H9, H10, H11, and J11 frequency bands to match regional spectrum availability and existing wireless infrastructure.
