Assembly Video Product Description This Zippy mod for the Jimpy Tux CM balisong trainer provides new "Shutter" scales made of Nylon (PA12) and shatter-proof extension spacers. The spacers feature adjustable weight, jimping, and extend the handles of the Tux to 5.67". Features Shifts weight distribution: Nylon Shutter scales are 40% lighter than the stock scales. Weight is shifted to ends with extension spacers. Balance can be modified to be blade biased, neutral, handle biased, and everything inbetween. Nylon Scales are RIT-dyable. Note: the dye won't be vibrant because the base color is grey. It's more subdued, such as the green shown in the 3rd image. Extends handle length from 5.54" to 5.67". Adjustable balance: Each spacer houses up to 4x removable Tungsten weights which enables you to find the perfect balance to suit your preference. The weights can be popped out with a thin, rigid metal object using the 2 slits at the base of the handle extensions, and can be popped in easily with just a pen. My preferred balance configuration is with 1-2x weights per spacer. Positive Jimping for extra grip on ladders. Shatter-proof spacers protects your handles from hard drops. The Zippy modded Tux weighs 3.355 oz (empty), up to 3.525 oz with all 8x tungsten weighs. For comparison, the stock Tux weighs 3.633 oz. Disclaimer This product is only compatible with Tux CM models, and will not fit regular Tux that are not built to accommodate the channel. It is not recommended to use this product with bushing-converted Tux, as the nylon will deform/compress under full-crank, which could lead to a poor tune and irreversibly damage the scales.
