These Kitten Post Earrings are made of glazed porcelain and have titanium posts and backs. They measure approximately 6-8mm in diameter (around 1/4")Glaze appearances (colors/patterns) may vary slightly from what is shown due to the organic processes they go through during firing. This makes each pair unique. The screen used for viewing may also have an impact on color appearance. The color palette/combination and breed style selected will be adhered to. These porcelain kittens are formed by hand and stamped-signed before being fired in a kiln for the first time to the "bisque" stage. As bisque, the clay is still fragile, but is now a bit more durable and won't dissolve if I get it wet. I sand away any initial rough spots, and then apply glazes from a rainbow of colors before firing them to around 2200*F. The kiln can take a couple of days to go from room temperature to 2200*F and back to room temperature. Then I give them a final sanding and polishing and they are ready for me to add the metal components, package them up, and send them out into the world.
