These brilliant prismatic shards of Orpiment are a celebration of the earth’s natural pigments and natural triumph for the color yellow! These shine like the sun. They are so rare that I’ve gone years without finding them in vast gem shows. Some sellers only allow one per customer! Orpiment is one of the top most powerful stones in the Daoist healing arts and alchemical arts. Alchemy means change. It means transformation. Alchemical stones catalyze and ignite alchemical processes in our lives. Sometimes these processes are intense, or hard before they get easier. These transformations change us at the soul level. They change our DNA. They change what we pass onto the next generation. They define what we came to this realm to do. Orpiment, consisting of arsenic and sulfur, can burn away ancestral pain, karmic blocks, and deep conditioning or suffering that has been long-term. It is amazing in the treatment room. If you use it for on-the-body healing, I recommend keeping it in the case, in an organic hemp or cotton pouch, or even in a small plastic bag so it's never directly touching the skin. Never make an elixir from this stone, grind it or inhale the dust, or ingest it in any way. If you make an elixir with it, it must never directly touch the water. Use only indirect methods such as the quartz test tube or the use of a glass within a glass. Because this is nature, no two minerals will be the same.
