Initial malty and slightly sweet tea and vanilla flavours are met with a smokey body and a slow, lingering smokey finish. Smoked Juniper gives the expected gin profile a unique twist. Russian Caravan tea gets its name and story from the historical trade route between China and Europe. Trader Caravans would offload their teas onto the snow covered steppe; where a unique flavour would be imparted by the moisture it absorbed, and by the traders' campfire smoke, along with the originally pine-smoke dried Lapsang Souchong. This Gin embodies that story and includes the very same smokey tea blend from those years ago. Best enjoyed in winter by a campfire with friends, or while letting your imagination run wild in a land of snow covered steppes and treacherous journeys.
