SICK is a magazine offering honest perspectives on the issue of chronic illness and disability. Publisher Olivia Spring created SICK as a zine while studying at Goldsmiths Universi ty in London. Becoming ill herself and faced with unrealistic and unhelpful writing and advice about life as a sick and disabled person encouraged her to create a platform to support herself and others in her situation. In this issue, from the publisher: writing on navigating the workplace as an ambulatory wheelchair user, how sex work can be a means of survival, re-imagining 'Christina's World', the boundaries of our bodies, an interview with Caren Beilin, poetry, artwork, book recommendations and much more.
