This windowpane hopsack comes from Biella, Italy: a noted textile hotspot due to its alpine climate, the sheep population, and even the water quality. We've been coming back to this quality for years as a perfect late-spring-early-summer fabric. A linen-rich blend gives it breathability and drape, balanced by the temperature-regulating properties of wool, and the highs and lows in the mélange add a nicely dimensional play of light and dark.
