This herringbone comes from a centuries-old mill in Yorkshire known for its naturally dyed fabrics. It's a silk-rich blend — we'd call it a "rustic silk" — with a nubby, textured hand that doesn't read slick or precious in the slightest. The herringbone weave almost veers into "non-pattern pattern" territory but the interplay of white and navy yarns gives it a dynamic, dimensional appearance. A truly excellent warm-weather jacket.
