The Crossfire 3 is constructed from very durable and tough Technomicro microfiber material. The inside is lined with Air Teflon mesh and Cambrelle to keep your feet comfortable and yet keep the inside breathable. The heel and toe areas are wrapped in protective plastic/PU as well to protect you from impacts. The Crossfire 3 uses 4 buckles (which are entirely replaceable of course), together with an easy to adjust Velcro closure at the top for a wider adjustment. What we love most about these boots though is the Flex system: the Crossfire 3 features an upper Flex System with Hyper Extension Block, to reduce the width of the boot and make it more comfortable on the inside. The Hyper Extension Block placed inside has a limited excursion to prevent hypertension of the ankle, instep and back tendon. The second joint sits just about the ankle and works in sync with the lower joint to improve the flexibility of the boot without compromising rigidity and protection.
