Sidr Leaves are traditionally used for cleansing, bathing, hair rinses, and spiritual wellness routines. They can be crushed, soaked, or boiled to create a natural herbal remedy. To use for drinking: 1) Add a small handful of Sidr leaves (preferably 7) to hot water. 2) Let it steep until the water changes colour. 3) Allow it to cool. 4) Drink. To cleanse the body: Crush 7 Sidr leaves. Add to a jug or bowl of clean water. Recite Qur’an over the water, especially Al-Fātiḥah, Āyat al-Kursī, and the 3 Quls. Use the water to wash the body, starting from the head down. Let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse if desired. To cleanse the home: Mix Sidr leaves into clean water. Recite Qur’an over the water. Lightly sprinkle around the home, especially corners, entryways, and rooms. Avoid bathrooms/toilets and dirty areas. Open windows, make dhikr, and play/recite Qur’an in the home. Repeat as needed with the intention of seeking protection and purification from Allah.
