It boasts a maximum T-stop of 2, ensuring consistent aperture performance throughout the zoom range. This lens aligns with the gear positions of other lenses in the Sigma High-Speed Zoom series, facilitating swift lens transitions. Equipped with a 9-blade iris, it produces aesthetically pleasing round out-of-focus highlights, resulting in a natural bokeh effect. The lens barrel allows for 180° rotation from close focus to infinity, while the zoom barrel offers 160° of rotation. The clickless iris ring provides 60° of rotation. All three control rings are fitted with cine-standard 0.8 Mod gears, and the focus scale is marked in feet. Lens Markings The main lens markings are in luminous paint for easy visibility in low light situations. The intermediate markings are laser-engraved for durability. The focus and zoom markings are readable from either side of the lens. Lens Gears All three lens gears are standard 0.8 Mod and feature a damper that eliminates metallic sounds when you reach the end of the lens travel.
