Sightseer Coffee is a women-run coffee roastery that sources all of their beans from women-run farms! We couldn't think of a better partner than that. DAD BOD- MEDIUM ROAST BLEND We taste notes of chocolate, toffee, cinnamon, and plum. This coffee's got some added heft, but heyโwe love that about him. Deeply sweet and pleasant, we especially dig this dude on immersion methods (think French press and Aeropress) that allow lots of chewy, chocolatey body to develop. Grounded by chocolatey tones and rounded off with fruity high notes, this is a beautifully-balanced joy of a blend. No matter the brew method, this bb tastes fabulous. This coffee reminds us of Austin: dark and velvety like a late summer evening on the Congress Street bridge, and just as unexpectedly sweet as seeing all those little bat pups learn to fly. Something surprising. Something different. Something eye-opening. Basically the David Bowie of coffees. Right now it's a natural process Ethiopian Yirgacheffe from Mrs. Tigest Wako, a member of the Cafe Imports/Lulo Small Farmers Project, which helps ensure transparency and allows producers more control over pricing and contracts. Mrs. Tigest's farm is planted with heirloom Ethiopian varieties. During harvest season, ripe cherries are carefully hand picked, sorted, and then placed on raised beds where they are turned and dried in the sun. This style of processing (called โnaturalโ) generally yields a complex and choco-fruity cup. We love it when we find naturals like this one - sweet, balanced, and not overly zingy. Roast level: Medium Origin: Ethiopia Region: Idedo, Yirgacheffe Producer: Mrs. Tigest Wako Altitude: 1900-2400 meters Variety: Heirloom Process: Natural I Wanna Be Your Dog - Cold Brew Blend We taste notes of semisweet chocolate and dulce de leche with a subtle berry finish. When the dog days of summer get downright sultry, this blend will help you ride the (heat)wave. We roast and blend this puppy to make an ideal cold brew - super smooth with a dense, creamy mouthfeel that tastes sweet and refreshing as is, but also pairs well with milk and syrups. Roast level: Medium-Dark Origin: Colombia and Ethiopia Regions: Huila and Yirgacheffe Altitude: 1500-2000 meters Variety: Colombia, castillo, and heirloom Process: washed Practical Magic - Seasonal Blend We taste wicked-good notes of dark brown sugar, toffee-nut, and red grape. This bewitching seasonal blend is as dangerous as it is delicious - rich, syrupy, and sweet with just enough bite to turn you to stone (but like, in a good way).
