Introducing Sign Painter Sans, our latest hand-drawn typeface. Here at Ulysses Design Co, we love vintage letterpress typography. The charming subtle print imperfections are full o f authenticity and soul. This font was inspired by an alphabet from The Expert Sign Painter by Asham Kelly, a book documenting American letterpress type from 1849 to 1928. The style was once a hallmark for shopfront and restaurant window signage. We wanted to create a typeface that lets designers easily bring that feeling to life.All the letters have been hand-drawn in-house by the Ulysses Design Co team. We’ve done the sign painting so you don’t have to! The font comes in two styles and three weights for flexibility.
