This is the box I would want someone to send me. A loaf of our 48-hour sourdough, a bottle of good olive oil to go with it, roasted rosemary almonds, and a few of our sourdough cho colate chunk cookies to finish. Everything here is made to sit on your counter, not in your fridge. It is shelf-stable, it ships anywhere in the country, and it arrives looking like someone went to some trouble. Because we did. The sourdough is milled and baked fresh within a day of going out. The olive oil is a small-producer bottle from Portugal that earns its place next to our bread. The almonds and cookies are made here in Franklin, in small batches. A good gift for housewarmings, thank-yous, new neighbors, or anyone who deserves better than the usual.
