After numerous requests, here it is! The Jack Carr Bookplate was made from a silhouette of a picture from 2006 when I was operating with a special unit in Baghdad. A series of even ts from that time in Iraq formed the basis for my second novel, True Believer. The mission behind that inspiration will remain known only to the team that was there and those who read the classified cables.
