Signia Silk X - The nearly invisible hearing aid The Signia Silk X was launched in summer 2020 and is the predecessor to the Silk IX (2023). It is a very small, battery-powered hearing aid that disappears almost completely into the ear, making it barely visible. It comes with soft silicone tips that adapt to a wide range of ear shapes. Despite its small size, it delivers clear speech amplification and is especially helpful in conversations for understanding voices better. The Signia Silk X is not Bluetooth-capable and is ideal for people who prefer an unobtrusive hearing aid. Performance levels The Signia Silk X is available in 5 technology tiers. As the tier increases, so does the technical complexity and performance capability of the hearing aids. Signia Silk 1X As the entry-level model, the 1X already offers 8 channels that can be programmed by our hearing care professional. It also includes the app function. The Silk 1X supports fundamental noise and feedback suppression. Signia Silk 2X The Signia Silk 2X also features 8 adjustable channels. In addition, it includes a wind and impulse-noise suppression function. This means that sudden loud sounds are softened to support listening comfort. The model also includes an HD music program and a tinnitus function. Signia Silk 3X With 12 channels, the Silk 3X offers more adjustable channels than the two previous models. The 3X features a TwinPhone function, which lets the sound of a phone call play in both ears. It also adds binaural directionality, so you don't lose your acoustic focus even in noisy environments. Signia Silk 5X With 16 channels and 3 adjustable HD music program settings (for CDs, concerts, or playing your own instrument), the Silk 5X is especially well-suited for music lovers. Signia Silk 7X As the premium model, the Silk 7X offers, in addition to all the features of the previous models, 20 adjustable channels. The 7X is also designed to better capture especially high tones. The 7X therefore stands for clear sound in reverberant and more complex listening environments.
