Named after the hundreds of soil profile pits dug to understand the estate’s rocky terrain, “Low Profile” may be the winery’s more approachable cuvée, but there’s nothing simple about it. Aromas of wild berries, black cherry, liquorice, tobacco, and dried herbs unfold alongside subtle earthy and mineral notes. The palate is juicy and energetic, balancing ripe dark fruit with savoury spice, smoky undertones, and fine-grained tannins. There’s a lovely freshness running through the wine, giving lift and drinkability despite its depth and texture. A long, dry finish leaves lingering notes of mulberry, herbs, and cracked pepper.
