Smooth and creamy with notes of honey, milk chocolate and apricots, this is a carefully harvested (two leaves and a bud) and processed tea, made by Nepal's first tea cooperative. T hree Himalayan villages, on three hillsides banded together to create the Tinjure (three hills) tea cooperative. The Tinjure Cooperative raised funds to establish their own processing facility, allowing the farmer/owners to earn 20 times more income, and helping to revive the area. Today the cooperative is 240 members strong and a model for other, nearby communities.
