Our irises just quietly opened one day, to no fanfare. But the next day, WOW! They were brilliantly showing their colors and are so very pretty! I designed SILENT SPRING from this memory....I always use 4lb Fire Line fishing line to stitch; a long, size 12 beading needle; size 11/0 Delica beads; size 15/0 seed beads for the trim and I chose to use a toggle bar and ring for the closure.I used 9 different colors for a total of 2266 beads! There are 23 columns and 197 rows.I have added a simple 3-bead picot trim to SILENT SPRING. I used some AWESOME peach silver lined seeds for this piece. This step is optional.The finished size of SILENT SPRING is 1 1/4 inches wide (which includes the trim) by 6 5/8 inches before adding the clasp.To lengthen your bracelet simply WORK more of the gold Delica #2119 or you can add another light peach section to each end.I hope you enjoy working this lovely design!
