As the seasons change and we see before us all the things that once blossomed with exuberant life now fading as the sun distances in our orbit, we are reminded of the many cycles w e endure in this waking life. Life and Death, Comedy and Tragedy, Sweet and Sour, Don Cherry and Ron McLean: these opposing forces which must remain tethered to another on our tongues and in our experiences in order for us to make any sense of our very existence have their time here in this print. It was an utter joy to make and I hope you utterly love it as much as I like the word utter. This is a 2 block linocut and letterpress print, produced on a German made Grafix proofing press in the heart of the urban Canadian wilderness that is Toronto Ontario. The font used was 8pt Garamond Paper size 5.5 x 7.5 in, print size (including text): 3.615 x 5 in Printed on 150gsm French Paper Company Muscletone Whip Cream, signed, numbered and stamped by the artist (that's this guy, writing this right now) edition of 120.
